  • Temporary power flexible cable between existing utility main disconnect and distribution sections, which contain all facility loads
  • New deep-junction box on building exterior containing all conductors from ATS to new generator junction box
  • (5) 4" Rigid Ocal conduit stub-downs w/Ocal 90-degree elbows from exterior junction box to first 10 feet of underground conduit. After first 10 feet of conduit, transitioned from Ocal to PVC Sch-40. Each conduit contained (4) 600Lcmil conductors and (1) 350 Kcmil ground
  • 3/0 bare copper grounding grid with two ground inspection wells along perimeter of rebar-reinforced structure to provide Ufer-grounding grid for new generator
  • 5 new 4" Ocal stub-ups from underground trench to new generator connection point; pulled all wires and did all terminations
  • New 1" conduit from generator control cabinet to new ATS inside electrical room for automatic power transfer (conduit contains 12 #14 wires for signals.)
  • 1500kvw, 3-phase 277/480v w/24-hour fuel tank emergency standby generator

Additional:

  • Dug trench from new exterior junction box to new generator connection point (will contain underground conduits encased in slurry)
